Location & Geography
Nepal is sovereign independent
kingdom country, lies between two
giant countries like India on South
- East and West and Tibetan
autonomous region of the Peoples
Republic of China on North. It has
more than 20 million populations and
possess 147,181 Sq.Kms in a total
area. The longitude from East to
West is about 550 miles and the
wideness (latitude) from north to
south is about 90 to 150 miles. The
country can be divided into three
main geographical regions.

Himalayan Region: The altitude
of this region ranges between
4877m-8848m, accumulates 8 of the
highest mountains among 14 highest
summits in the world. Dhaulagiri,
Annapurna and others.

Mountain regions: This region
comprises 64 percent of total land
area. It covers the Mahabharat range
(up to 4877m) and the lower churia
range.

Terai Region: This low-land
occupies about 17 percent of the
total land area of the country.
There is no seasonal constraint on
travelling in Nepal because Nepal is
for all seasons and all adventure
through out the year.
History
Nepal, a country with a long
historic tradition brings rich
flavor of mixed culture and mutual
respect in faith can be viewed still
through the official acceptance and
participation on the public
celebration after unification by
King Prithvi Narayan Shah in 1768
AD. Before the unification, the
Kathmandu Valley was ruled by the
Malla Kings.
Immigration formalities/Entry
Requirement
Valid Passports and Visa are
required for all visitor to Nepal
except Indian Nationals. Tourist
visa can be obtained from Royal
Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or
other mission offices or at the
following immigration offices in
Nepal :

a) All the tourists who entry Nepal
for the first time in a visa year
(Jan – Dec) have to pay visa fee as
per below :
-
Single Entry – 60 days from the
date of entry USD 30.00 or
equivalent convertible foreign
currency.
-
Multiple entry visa can be
obtained by paying additional USD
50.00 or equivalent convertible
currency. This type of visa can only
be obtained from Royal Nepalese
Embassy or Consulate or other
mission offices abroad.

Gratis Visa :
- Children below 10 years. - Dependants up to the age of 16
years, holding foreign passports of
Nepalese parents or either of their
parent being a Nepalese citizen. - Citizen of Nepali origin, after
having obtained passport for the
first time from a Nepal based
foreign mission, until the period of
his departure to a foreign country.
- Citizents of South Asian
Associationfor Regional Cooperation
(SAARC) and the People’s Republic of
China. - Any foreigner, who has lived in
Nepal up to fifteen(15) nights
continuously, re0entering Nepal
during the same visa year. - Any foreigner, tourist entering
into Nepal for three days or less
than that.
Foreign Exchange Regulations
Tourist other than Indians are not
authorized to bring Indian Rupees.
They require to pay their hotel
bills and air tickets in foreign
currency. All other convertible
foreign currency either in cash or
in traveller’s cheque can be brought
on their own requirements, but it
must be declared upon arrival to
avoid any embarrassment taking the
same back at departure time. if they
exchange these foreign currencies, a
form is given and every exchange has
to be recorded. Balance Nepalese
rupees under this form can buy
foreign currency (Usually US Dollar)
in certain percent of total exchange
amount at International airport at
the time of departure.
Health
In regards to the health
certificate, is usually no need of
specific requirement from
authorities except for those
arriving from Yellow Fever areas.
They should posses valid certificate
against that fever. Although we
recommend, as a safety purpose to
hold normal healthy certificate
against any contagious diseases.
To create healthy atmosphere during
your trip is to care in what you eat
& drink as the most important health
rule. Avoid normal drinking water
and uncooked foods including Ice.
Well cooked and boiled water or
reputed brands of bottle water are
normally acceptable.
Custom Formalities
All baggage must be declared and
passed through Customs Inspection at
the port of entry and personal items
are allowed free of duties entry.
Personal goods like one camera with
12 plates, one move Camera with 12
rolls of films or one video camera
with deck, one ordinary camera with
15 rolls of film, one radio or radio
cassettes player, one bottle of
liquor, 200 cigarettes, one
tent/reasonable quantity of camping
equipment and bicycle can be brought
in after inspecting in the custom.
But antiques, wild animals and their
skins, horns, gold, precious stones,
silver and drugs are strictly
prohibited.
Climate
Varies as per the altitude of region
but the travelling is possible for
all seasons and all adventure
through out the year in Nepal.

Dress & Behaviour
The visitors must consider the
following points :
*Nudity is completely unacceptable
and brief shorts are not
appreciated. Men should always wear
a shirt.
* Tropical wear from March through
October and warm clothing from
November through February.
*Public displays of affection are
frowned upon.
*Offering balloons, candy and money
to village children brings changes
in their nature and encourages them
to beg. Well - intentioned visitors
/ trekkers thought they were doing a
service by passing out pens for use
in school, so clever kids now ask
for pens.
*Don't tempt people into thievery by
leaving cameras, watches and other
valuable items around a hotel or
trekking camp. Keep all your
personal belongings in your hotel
room or tent. This also means that
you should not leave laundry hanging
outside at night.
Currency
There is a paper note and a coin use
in Nepal same as other countries. It
is call as Nepalese rupees and paisa
in local language and is available
in denomination of
1,2,5,10,20,25,50,100,500, 1000 for
paper currency and denomination of
coin is 5, 10, 20,25, 50, 100, 200,
500 paisa.
Religion
Nepal is known as Hindu country of
the world but there is two major
religions Hinduism and Buddhism
overlap and mingle with each other
being tolerate and harmonized. There
is no tradition of ethnic or
religious strife. But medieval art
and architecture, festivals and
pageantry give a rich tradition and
co-relationship with different
people and faith. As per official
record main religion – Hinduism
occupies 86.5%, whereas Buddhism
7.8%, Muslim 3.5% and others
including Christianism 2.2%.
Language
In Nepal, there is 70 spoken
languages and Nepali is its national
language and understood by all. The
main cities of Nepal including
Kathmandu where usual visit the
tourists, the shop-keepers, taxi
drivers and even Riksha drivers may
deal in English.
Time
05:45 hrs ahead of G.M.T.
Electricity
There is 220 volts Ac-50 cycles all
over the country.
Transportation
Nepal is always ahead of giving all
possible facilities to the visitors
to make their visit more comfort and
joyful so the visitors may have
metered taxi, coaches (A/c or non
A/c), Tourist/Public buses, private
cars, Troley Buses, Auto Rickshaws.
But in hill side you may have
horses/ponies as a transportation
and elephants for Jungle.
Flora
Orchids, Blue-puppies & other wild
flower can be found in Jumla,
Shanschare, Tansen, Gosainkunda,
Bharatpur, Shivapuri, Makalu,
godavari, Trisuli, Milke, Makalu,
Hetauda and Khaptad during March –
May.
The other wild plant Eidelweilss is
avaible in Gosainkunda, Dolpa &
Langtang during August and late
monsoon.
Fauna
The wild animals such as Snow
Leopard, Blueshep Himalayan will be
found in Annapurna, Barun, Dolpa &
Mugu in all seasons but Marmod is
also found in same region except
winter
Red Panda, Blood-pheasants and
Musk-deer can be found in Lantang in
all season except winter but
Migratory birds will be seen in
Karnali, Jumla, Mahakali and Jomsom
during April/Oct in Himalayan region
but in Winter it will migrate to
terai.
Shopping Guidance
There is hand-knotted pashmina
shawls, woolen carpets, woolen
knitwears, jewelry, embroidery,
woodcarvings, ceramics Thanka
paintings, metalwork’s,
woodcarvings, stationary, rice paper
and pottery. Except these items
Nepalese shopping center will also
offer wide variety of imported
merchandise in quality and price.
Business Days & Hours
Except Government office, most of
business office has a six-days week
working days in Nepal. Saturday is
weekly holiday and generally
Government business hours starts
from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and the
Government offices will be close one
hour earlier in the winter. During
national festivals and other special
government days the office will be
closed.
Tour booking conditions and
liabilities

All the clients should pay the
Invoice thirty days before the
beginning of the tour which booked
with us on confirm basis. If any
cancellation made up in written 21
days prior to departure date, no
cancellation, if 15 to 7 days before
& without noticed will be charged
15%, 25%, 50% respectively of the
total payment but if less than a
week no refunds.

In regards to the Air ticket for
International or domestic may be
refundable in full or deducting
certain percent cancellation charges
as per Airline policy.

If any one intends to book the
tour, the booking should come to us
directly per E-mail, Fax or by post.
The booking will be regarded as
confirmed as you receive the written
confirmation by us. We act only as
agent for owners of accommodation
and services. We agree to receive
the bookings subject to the services
requested being available. Cost
excluded subject to Air fare, meals,
beverages, Airport taxes, Nepal re-
entry Visa/trekking fees,
Photographic charges in monasteries,
medical kits, tipping to drivers & Sherpas, Guide, Sleeping bags,
rescue operation & insurance in any
form, any costs or shortened
itinerary due to natural disaster
(landslides etc.), political
disturbances and strikes, any other
costs/expenses of personal nature,
whatsoever, that is not pre
mentioned in program.

All price or other charges are
based on prevailing costs therefore
are subject to change without prior
notice. For any increase in this
cost due to hike on fuel, airfare,
accommodations and services we are
not responsible.

Company will be not responsible
for any loss, injury, or damages
sustained by the tourists, during
their whole tour programs. As
company does not possess any
insurance policy covering the
expenses for accident, sickness,
rescue operation, lost and theft. We
therefore advise to the visitors to
seek such insurance coverage for the
planned trip with a valid Travel
Insurance with company of their
choice in their home country. All
baggage and personal effects are at
all times at their own risk.

reserves the right to modify or
cancel the itinerary, the tour and
travel arrangements or accommodation
without any prior notice, if
affected by unforeseen
circumstances. In such a case no
liability whatsoever shall fall on
