nation in the world. There are
fourteen official languages in
India. However, there are
twenty-four languages spoken by more
than a million of people, and
countless other dialects spoken by
minority of people. Seven major
religions and many other minor
religions are practised in India.
There are mainly six ethnic groups
and countless holidays. Religion is
regarded as the major subject in
Indian culture and Indian people
practise it in every aspect of their
life. Hinduism is the major religion
of India as 80 percent of the
population follow this religion. The
Muslims, the Sikhs, the Jains etc.
are other remarkable religions
practised in India. Therefore, India
is such a country where one can find
many different culture, traditions
and religions in a single country.
